The Maryland State Education Association supports MSP's goals to elevate student voice. MSP students regularly speak at MSEA events.

MCEA AND Lauren-Ashley Villa: The Montgomery County Education Association(MCEA-MCPS Educators' Teachers Union) formed a partnership with the Minority Scholars Program in 2015 and has been essential to the growth of the movement. Ms.Villa was essential in starting the collaborative summer internship program between MCEA and MSP that started in Summer of 2016 .
